Hello, out there!  It's been a while since I've even done a journal (or artwork for that matter).  In fact, my last journal entry was April 1st of 2010.  Since then, my sister has had yet another baby: Renee Christine, and my brother's wife is pregnant with their third.  My step-brother has married, and they, too, are expecting their first together.  So my family has expanded!!! 7:00 in the morning I got the call. I'm an aunt again (and a godparent too)!!! Caleb Gabriel was born this morning to my brother and sister-in-law, Rob and Rebecca.  Weighing in at 9lbs 11oz., and 21" long.  *laughs* well my predictions (and my mom's AND sister's) were wrong *lol*.  But I'm not going to complain ;).  That gives me a total of two nephews and one niece.  I'm happy :D

It has been a LONG time since I've tried to make anything 'big', really putting my time into a piece.  Well there was a contest through anthrochallenge about the military...I began drawing, began coloring, but realized I wasn't going to make the deadline (I simply had too much detail that I didn't want to skip over).  So while I missed the contest I was determined to go ahead and go with the theme.  A snow leopard general (complete with eye patch) surveys over a table covered in a map, with miniature winged lion on his arm, and listens to his companion (an amur leopard) as he goes over possible battle tactics.
