I've been thoroughly swamped, and can't say that I will not be MIA again after this journal, but I'm taking a little breather. I've been sick, so I have an excuse to slow down *laughs*. My husband's and I's business, Horst Couture (feel free to look at my gallery to see the work that we have done), is branching currently in so many directions. Sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming, but I know in the long run it's going to be great. I've still got some photo shoots hidden away that I need to pull out for dA to see. In fact, I just finished shooting
While still busy, we still manage to get to have a great time at DragonCon each year. I have last years yet to upload to this site, but we were Cyberpunk fairies and Steampunk fairies this past year. Maybe I saw some of you there, and when I finally am able to upload images, maybe you will recognize me too. Feel free to say hi at that event. I'd love to meet fellow artistic persons...I did meet one dA person, but was unfortunately unable to properly say hello and exchange names (I was asked to jump into a picture the moment before, and was being rude to the other person, making them wait for me). Anyhoo, Hello stranger out there! *waves* This next year might be just my husband and I, as our step-daughter is going to be at boot camp. She does have that weekend off, but we need to figure out some sort of transport, and how to afford it *laughs*. But, one costume has already been solidified. I'm going to be Draculaura and my husband is going (grudgingly) to be Clawd. If you have never heard of these characters before, they are Monster High characters. Feel free to look them up. In fact, here are the costumes I'm creating: [link]
Before I sign off, I just wanted to say a quick thank you to all those that have fave my works or watch me. It's really unfortunate that things for me are so insane right now, that I can't pop on to each and every one of your sites and say thank you. But I really do appreciate being able to go on to this site and seeing so much love for my artwork. I always come here for a quick pick-me-up.
